Paul Vincent has been dubbed the 'king of quirk' for his humorous and somewhat philosophical paintings that try to capture the spontaneity and randomness of everyday life. 'Painting for me is like the cat's tail flicking around the corner. Those who know my paintings will see in this show a change of direction. I'm letting my mind do what it wants, to be free to roam and have been greatly influenced in by my love of Matisse.'
